Hello
my name is Elisa and I’m an artist born and raised in the mountains of Auronzo di Cadore, a small village nestled in the Dolomites. I still live here, surrounded by nature that inspires my work every single day.
As a child, I spent hours drawing and leafing through books about animals. At 13, I chose to attend the Art Institute of Vittorio Veneto, but during my university years I pursued another great passion of mine: the study of religions and Eastern philosophies.
Painting came back into my life after a life-changing event: a brain aneurysm in 2017 that forced me to stop and reconsider everything.
Since then, I’ve chosen to devote myself only to what makes me feel truly alive: creating.
For some time, I had been feeling the need for something more
That’s why, in recent years, I’ve paired my painting with a deep journey of personal exploration, reconnecting with spirituality.
I felt a strong desire for this path to intertwine with my love for animals, and so I began exploring shamanic traditions — cultures in which the bond between humans, animals, and nature holds sacred meaning.
In shamanism, animals are seen as spiritual guides who accompany us from birth, offering protection, wisdom, and valuable teachings. Each species embodies specific qualities that we can call upon in times of need.
According to these traditions, every animal carries unique spiritual attributes and can become a guide, a messenger, a presence that supports and protects us.
My work seeks to express exactly this: the strength that nature and animals offer us, the healing beauty, and the symbols that speak to the soul.
My new paintings are born from this journey and from a deep desire: to help people reconnect with the power of the natural world.

The compositions I make
are rich with meaning. I never include an element by chance — every detail is born from intuition and intention.
I paint on paper or on antique wood panels reclaimed from old mountain huts, barns, or carpentry scraps, giving new life to materials that already have a story to tell.
Through art, I aim to offer an experience: a deep connection with what surrounds and supports us, even when we’re not aware of it.
